RIDE the Moo Choo Express

Imagine taking a ride INSIDE of a cow! Yes, you read it correctly!!

We offer many fun things for kids to do at our farm in the fall and one of them is the Moo Choo Express! This is a one-of-a-kind cow train that my hub and I designed. In fact, with the help of his brother and a few others, we even built it right in our very own farm shop! Farm boys are super handy :)

The Moo Choo was a huge undertaking! We started with some old fuel tanks and put together a plan for a cow on wheels that was large enough for 4 people to sit it! We torched, we cut, we welded, we nailed, we painted, we applied decals, we made tails and eartags and finally – the job was complete! We spent too many hours to count but about 4 months on this project! Here are some photos to show the evolution of the Moo Choo Express:
Before the spots…
And, after the spots…

Our Moo Choo was awarded the best exhibit in the 2009 Johnson County Fair Parade and is a huge hit on our farm! We give rides every weekend in Oct. when we are open for Experience the Farm! Come and join us this fall and ride for yourself!!!
